Proud to be part of

Anthem Community Council

As part of a multi-academy trust, our school is not restricted to the traditional model of local governance that most people are familiar with.

Society is changing, and our governance structures need to change with it. Anthem is leading the way by launching a completely new kind of governance across its 16 schools with local views, experiences, and expertise at its heart.

You can find out more about the strategy on the Anthem website.

The new name for local governing bodies is Anthem Community Councils (ACCs). Members of the ACCs will be known as Anthem Community Council members (ACCMs).

ACCs will have four delegated areas of responsibility:

  • Community
  • Celebration
  • Send, inclusion and safeguarding
  • Panels

Each ACC will include Anthem Community Council members who are Champions in key areas such as safeguarding, SEND and inclusion, and climate change.

The current members of our ACC are:

Name Position Appointed Interests declared

Susannah Daniel: Headteacher

Susannah is our Headteacher as well as one of our ACC members. She has been in education for 28 years and been a headteacher for 21 of those. She is passionate about ensuring children get the best experience they can whilst at All Saints - socially, emotionally, and academically. She wants them to leave at the end of Year 6 not only ready for the next stage of their journey but with strong core values, a love a learning and an understanding of the importance of their role as a global citizen.

Liz Kenny: ACC Chair

Liz is Chair of the ACC and has been an active member of the school community since 2012. She is Mum to two boys, both of whom attended All Saints Junior School.  Liz acted as co-chair of the PTA for All Saints Infants School from 2015 to 2017. Her background is in Speech and Language Therapy, but she changed careers 15 years ago to fulfil her dream role as a Professional Photographer - she’ll be the one holding the camera on school photo day!

Mischa Tytel: ACC member

Mischa is passionate about education. He was one of the parents from the local community who helped to set up All Saints Junior School in 2011. He then went on to lead the community in the creation of The Wren School, which opened in 2015. Mischa has extensive experience working in HR, management development and business and has two sons. One is still at All Saints Juniors. Since 2017, he has had the privilege of delivering the school's outdoor learning and Bushcraft awaydays.
