Proud to be part of

Safeguarding

All Saints Junior School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We all work together to create and maintain a safe, happy environment for the children at our school and take action when there are child welfare concerns.

The Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) in our school is Mrs Daniel. She can be contacted via the school office (see Contact us).

We have a set of clear policies and procedures for safeguarding children. These can be found in our Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy on the policies page of this website.

Online safety

Online safety at All Saints is all about measures to keep children, and adults working with children, safe while using digital technologies. At school this can include computers, laptops and tablet computers, and at home it can also include devices such as games consoles (Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo Switch), mobile phones and anything else which allows interactive digital communication.

  • Online safety concerns safeguarding children and young people in the digital world.
  • Online safety emphasises learning to understand and use new technologies in a positive way.
  • Online safety is less about restriction and more about education about the risks as well as the benefits so we can feel confident online.
  • Online safety is concerned with supporting children and young people to develop safer online behaviours both in and out of school.

The online environment is an integral part of children’s lives, so it is important that we work together as a school community to ensure that our children have a healthy relationship with technology and support them to use it responsibly.

You can find more information, advice and support relating to online safety on the NSPCC’s Online Safety web pages.
