It is essential that our children come to school on time every day.

This is because every moment is a learning opportunity, and we really want your child to reach their full potential and make outstanding progress during their time with us here at All Saints Junior School.

Illness and medical appointments

If your child is ill and not well enough to come to school, please inform us by telephone before the start of the school day.

If your child has a medical appointment during the school day, please give as much advance notice as possible.

Term dates 2022-23

It is very important that children attend school every day during term time.

Parents do not have the right to remove their child from school during term-time. By law, you must ask permission for your child to miss school.

The Headteacher will decide whether an absence should be authorised. The Headteacher will only authorise absence in term-time when there are exceptional reasons for a child to miss school.

If you would like to apply for permission for your child to be absent from school, you must complete the Request for term-time absence form below and return it to the school for authorisation at least 10 days in advance of the proposed leave.

Holidays should only be taken during the allocated holiday dates. We are not able to authorise holidays in term time.
